Default Computer Relocation

I did a search and couldn't find anything relating to the LT1/4 Vettes about moving the computer inside. On these cars they sit above the battery and kind of are in the way and get so freaking hot. I know on my 06 GTO it was fairly simple to move the computer to under the dash and wondered if anyone did that on these and how and where they routed the wires. Not much excess wire harness there to move it so I was curious as to what others have done if they have done it.

If you could fabricate extensions for the four cables that presently go to the ECM and route them through the firewall, where on earth would you put the ECM? There is very little room anywhere to run the four cables and a location to mount the ECM.

The PCM when under the hood at the same the new interior came out. There's not alot of room to put it. 90-93 have glove boxes, 94-96 Airbag occupies that spot. It could go in there maybe. Fabricating jumper or lengthening harness, making pass through....etc is IMO not worth the trouble. I haven't noticed PCM to be in the way. The electrical center on the other hand could have been in a better location.
