I'm with everyone else. I've always loved the C4 style. The way it wraps around you, the "cockpit" style of the interior, and especially the clamshell hood. I like the bullet shape and the refined corners. The '96 is the one that I wanted, and got.
The C5 is a great car, but the big rear end (everyone mentions that) from a side view and the plastic typical GM interior really bugs me. Lots of buttons, lots of luxury, but doesn't look sporty enough compared to the C4 (IMHO). I know the C5 performs great, but I have no complaints about my C4.
And as for the storage space, it's enough for me. I can fit my 2 fold-up chairs, 125 psi air tank, box of supplies, and a 12 can cooler with some room to spare when I drive up to the track.
When I was buying mine, I had a chance for it, or a '97, and I picked my '95. It wasn't the money, it was the gut feeling I got when I saw mine... I just knew it was the one!! I didn't have that same feeling when I sat in the '97.. It was nice, don't get me wrong, just didn't feel like I felt a Vette SHOULD feel :)
