Default Vats

Does anyone know how to wire around the vats system and completely remove it without reprogramming the ecu or using the vats key delete. I have the vats key delete on the car and suddenly the car won’t start. I bridged the starter relay and can get it to crank but the security light is still on and i wanted to bypass the vats system so the ecu will send the signal to the injectors to fire. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think it's possible for they typical person. The ECM expects communication w/ the Vats Module or BCM (depending on year).

It's quite rare for the VATS module to fail, so I'd check your wiring on your "VATS key delete" device.

My C4 is a 1990. I put the bypass in over a year ago. Worked great no problems for a year. I’am pretty sure it’s the Vats module.
