I'm just guessing... I believe those wheels are a 1-year-only issue so may be special to some people. I like your new wheels though.

They were available in 88-89, 90 was similar but with exposed lug caps. I took them off my 89 as soon as I found a different set, I never was a fan of the "salad shooter" design.

Mine were pretty beat up and the center caps definitely needed to be replaced so I didn't hesitate to go to something new!

I say this with all do respect and it is only my opinion.

This is one of the reasons the C4's get such a bad wrap.... C7 wheels do not belong on C4's... To me, they don't do it justice. 4th GEN CAMARO wheels ( 10 spokes) are even worse...

I am just saying what everyone else is thinking..

I realize and appreciate it is your Corvette and you should do what makes you feel good about YOUR car.

those are C6 ZR1 replicas , not Z06. I Like the factory wheels on that car way better.

I respect your opinion, but not everyone else feels the same way.

As I always say. I'll never not want people to do what makes them happy. If you like it enjoy it. I think it looks much better than what some can put on it. I have no problems with anything people do to be happy though... except pineapple on pizza. You have to draw a line somewhere.

I think they look good; been thinking of black wheels for my RED '89 Vert, though the OEMs still look very clean...

Of course with open style blacks I'd have to paint the calipers red to match the body color, not that that would be a bad thing...

Default Brake pads and rotors

A little off the wheel subject but, you said you have Powerstop rotors and pads. I've been looking at those for my '95. How do you like them and, which, pads did you choose?

Thanks

What exactly did you change?

Not gonna lie I like the original wheels, but I think the black wheels look good too. The wheels look bigger though, how's the suspension holding up?

sgltrk big improvement over what I had, very happy with them. Unsure on which pads will find out from the shop that installed them.

Thomas same size tires as before, wheels a little wider. New shocks and struts also added so suspension is improved.
