Default 1985 Corvette

I need help on my 1985 Corvette, my air conditioning doesn't work and my Gauge also doesn't work. I have a tester and I tried to find out what wire it is because I already pulled my cluster out, I also replaced fuses, I took apart my Gauge to see if anything was wrong but nothing was, I also cleaned it and put everything back together. Then I was testing the wire to see what was hot and I found a baby blue wire that turned everything on but my air conditioning still didn't turn on.

This is what it looks like when the car is on, see how the gauge is off.

Those wires turn everything back on when I ground them

Now the gauge is on, what do I do now?

You are lucky to get the gauges working. I would say if your lenses are not cracked then you need to clean the little pink electric pads with alchohol where they meet the glass. That would fix the missing pixels.Take pics. I have had mine apart 20x. The a/c could be wiring, connector or not enough freon. A test I was able to do is put a can of freon in and the compressor should start for a moment if it is working. It will not charge without evacuationg and vacuuming the system but you can see if it will kick on. Good Luck

Pull the connector for the pressure switch and jump it with a wire and see if it's just low/no pressure. If it's low pressure the compressor will kick on and you can fill it then.
