Default Valve covers

I recently install the Morassa type gaskets to my valve covers and torque them down and after a couple of uses of the car the bolts find away to get loose. I even got to the point where are used some lockwashers nothing seems to be working. Prior to installing the gasket I had a tiny leak in my rear main seal I used a additive call blue devil just try and stop the tiny leak at the rear main seal I’m just wondering if this additive is having an effect on my valve cover gasket I’m just about at wits end on how to stop his boat coming coming loose . I am trying my best not to use Loctite to help secure these bolts so if anyone got any suggestions I am all ears

Hi.

I just finished this job with Fel-Pro gaskets. See post #54 in this thread for the process I used. It is basically new bolts, and in the bolt holes, I cleaned very well and chased the threads for a tight and torque accurate bolt fit.

What you can try is using studs and lock nuts.
