Default Help asap interior question

rain clouds are forming and I only have an hour or so.

I'm putting my interior back together and I'm not sure how it goes between the floor and console carpet

Passenger side

Drivers side

Which overlaps? The console carpet or the floor carpet (see pics). I need to know before I put other pieces together to find out I have to take back apart to fix the carpet.
passenger side is console carpet overlaying floor carpet.
Driver's side is the same but looks weird.
I did put kilmat and new jute, so I'm sure there is some settling
Thanks!

i've been thinking about picking up some of these, but I dunno. I could see where they'd serve a function, but they look kind of dumb. Plus I already have nice floor mats anyway.

Who makes those? I would buy a pair! I live in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by dirt. LOL.

I thought about those when I had my 94. But I would need a pump to pump out the water. Or just go with it and get some pet fish

The console carpet overlays the floor carpet. Don't forget that you have the floor mat which hides that seam.

I don't know who makes them, but I saw them on the Corvette Mods web site.

I've never bought anything from Corvette Mods, so can't speak for them.

We have a gravel driveway and Ohio is just plain dirty in the parking lots. We have a set of those footwell protectors. They work pretty good

Can you still put Lloydes mats on top of them? Or maybe you haven't tried?

The really do seem like a very good idea. And they're not very expensive either.

Here's what I'm working with now and I have to vacuum every other day it seems like. If my mats would fit inside them, I'd buy a set.

I have nice (Lloyd) embroidered mats (ZR-1 looks nice on BLACK mat), but wife has those inserts in her turquoise Z. No question the durability of the inserts (shown) are more durable - look like new still. But, sooner or later the nice mats begin to show their age and you'll prolly want to replace them - at least when the car is on display! Just my 2¢

Chumpvette to the rescue with this and my other silly(to some) questions.

Here is a question to all...I have NOS(?) torch red car mats, that I've seen one pair on ebay for $260 . My buddy doesn't think I should use them because they would get dirty pretty quickly. Is there a clear car mat I can use on top of them?

Before anyone orders from Corvette Mods you might want to read the feedback forum.....

I have a single drivers side NOS Torch Red floor mat. I bought it but I needed FLAME RED instead $100 plus shipping if interested.
