ASR questions
I heard in a previous thread that the ASR was first implemented in the 92's and gradually got better until the 96's. If they are better, would it be possible to swap the two out? I'd like to take advantage of the better ASR handling if possible.

I'd really like to know if I could put a '96 ASR unit in my car because I want the better performance of the newer model, if possible.

I can't give you an answer right now(because I don't feel like reading), but I have an ASR manual that discusses just about everything you want to know. I'll take a look tomorrow. You may want to email me to remind me.
But it was improved in '95, the unit also shed 16 lbs. It was improved again for 1998.
Do a search for Bosch, maybe you'll turn something up in the mean time.
