Winter Storage Tips?
I just bought my 87 convertible this year. I am planning to store it for the winter in a heated garage. Any tips? I plan to add fuel stabilizer and remove the battery. Should the car be put on blocks? If so, where should it be supported? Thanks.

AC seals tend to dry out if not used and tranny seals can too.
Plus, sitting behind the wheel, with the engine running (garage doors open please) is winter dream city!

First, welcome to the forum! :seeya As for your storage. My first year, I had to put mine in a public storage facility. I went up avery week or so to start it, and if weather permitted, take it for a spin. Most folks here don't believe in running them but we all have our opinions, and several of them will surface here. Now, that my vettes stored home, I still run it every two weeks to get some heat in the fluids and to circulate things. I have a quick disconnect for the battery, and I disconnect it while not in use for the winter. Storing for the winter months is not that hard on these cars. Being in a heated garage, I wouldn't think that you'd have to do much preparation.
