I’m 16 and just bought a c4 corvette, I want some custom wheels for it and can’t find any I like under $1,500. Does anyone have any ideas that look good?

I just got a set of gunmetal C6 rims with Pilot Sports on them, less than 500 miles for $800. You'll need spacers for the rear--but spend some time on FB marketplace, etc. I'll bet you can find a good deal. I like to stick with OEM wheels as they are usually the lightest, but that's just me.
I have 17x9.5 and 18x10.5 C7 wheels on my 88 from OE...when I got them I inspected the hell out if them - no defects. When they were mounted and balanced I asked if they went smooth. Balancer said yeah no issues.....only drove for 45 miles on them but all went great. I gotta say they seem to have a decent product.
Now where's my referral $ ?

Nick,
Are you anywhere close to Portland OR?
I have a set I pulled from my 86 last year. 17 in, came with the car but I wanted gen 5 ZO6 wheels.
The old wheels and tires are sitting at the side of the house getting wet and unused. Welcome to them.
Depending on the size you want, you could could get brand new Forgestar CF5 wheels for a bit under $1500. They look great IMO on a C4. The smallest diameter they make is 18". These are 18x11 with 315/30/18 on my car, but you could get 18x10s in a good offset (depends on the year of your C4) and put 275/35/18 or 285/35/18 tires on it.

you need to update your profile, it says you're 18 y.o.
I have Enkie's on mt MX5-- GREAT wheels!!! And usually LIGHTER than stock (at least on Mazda's). I like the RPF1's myself, but the TS5 is very similar to the stock C5 wheel.

If you want custom wheels, avoid the C4GS& ZR1/C5/C6/C7 wheels for your C4. They aren't custom wheels, they are factory wheels, and tag you as a I-wish-I-had-a-different-Vette owner.
