86 rescue
We got it running better now, replaced a dead o2, fixed an exhaust leak and a massive vacuum leak. Cleared 3 of the 4 codes it had, now just down to a intermittent code 13. I am not going to worry about that until the fuel system is sorted. Compression and leak down tests are next then we'll really dig in if they are good.
Of course the +3 is inop so its getting a zf6 which I found last night. And with some research here and other places I found that ram clutch has a great kit with flywheel clutch and hydros for 89-91 zf6 vettes which will make that part very easy (I believe my 86 is a one piece main? I hope)
It was 50 here today so I was able to wash it finally, and scored a mint factory service manual on flea bay.
And it appears I can't post my pictures...this forum does not like HEIC format on my iPhone or MacBook.

I guess you'll need to convert your HEIC to JPG, because we do want to see pictures

P.S. Hopefully they can get Vettes at the Beach up and running this year.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
We finally had some time to work on it today, our older daughter is home on leave so we've been busy with her. We pulled all the plugs for a compression test to make sure we are good internally before we start on the fuel system. All cylinders were very even 150-155 psi on 4 compression strokes.
Then we pulled the ecm to get the svc# and memcal to order a custom chip. Time to order parts!
Fixed some wiring for the tachometer, The noise filter must have gone bad so someone ran a new wire into the cabin. Installed a new filter but haven't hooked it up yet since I need to get into the dash to find where they spliced in the other wire.
The fuel pump relay wiring was baddddd, replaced that mess with a new plug for the relay and proper connectors.
The inside was real clean for 110k, happy about that.
All new fuel system, filler neck/sender, pump, filter, FPR, injectors. Dist. cap/rotor, ignition module/capacitor, coil, plugs, wires-which I cut and put on new coil ends since they were too long and looked like poo. New 180 t-stat, upper/lower rad hoses, heater hoses. New elbow on the intake for the heater hose since we are bypassing the throttle body. But still waiting on the molded one that comes off the water pump.
Edited the harness to get rid of the connectors for stuff that fell off. Air delete pulley and new serp belt. Custom chip from pcmofnc.
Got it fired up tonight, runs great. Ran for about 30 min to run some cooling system flush through. Need to set the base timing and I want to check the tps voltage also.
