Default Courtesy light problem

I seem to have a problem with my car. I've recently had the passenger side door apart to do some repairs and now that it's back together I have a problem with the door courtesy light staying on.
All the other lights go out on the timer except for the passenger door one, so I'm wondering where I've stuffed up.
Can anyone tell where I should start looking?
Up until this happened I was pretty happy because I only had 2 screws left over.

I've had to "adjust" the plunger on the door switches ... see if this post helps https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1600949529

I don't think that it's a problem with the door switches as all the other lights go out with the timer except for the passenger door one. It's been like this since the car was in an accident.

I don't know if all models are the same but my 88 doesn't seem to have any switch on the light.

The light lense is the switch, just push it as suggested. The other thing to check are the wires going to the back of the light itself. They are pretty flimsy and break rather easily. Could be one is broken and causing the light to stay on.

If you look carefully at the lense, it will say push on lower corner
