Nice looking ZR1, and still looks like a baby!

Looking good, Steve! I’m close to sending my top end out for porting so I can get a little closer to your power level. Hard to believe these ZR-1s are antiques now.

That's impressive. I thought the early '90 ZR1's were less than 400hp.

That is correct the 90-92 LT5 was rated at 375. Several improvements including the exhaust raised the 93-95 to 405. The OP's car has one of Marc Haibeck's 510 packages. This includes full porting of the plenum, injector housings, and cylinder heads. Then you can opt for complete exhaust including long tube headers , light weight fidanza flywheel , and even the secondary delete option. All this with stock cams and stock displacement.

That's impressive.... even by today's standards. I appreciate the explanation.

very very nice. Actually what's impressive to me are the bumpers. Does not appear to be any fading at all. I have a '91 and it isa constant battle keeping them glossy.

It's probably my favorite ZR-1 on the board. For some reason that thing just always photographs very well. I dunno. Maybe I'm just biased to the color. It's nice, though.

Matter of fact, the only time I ever find myself thinking, man, I should pick up a ZR-1 is when I see yours.

Thanks and thank you everyone for the great comments. Of all the corvettes I've owned over the past 44 years the 91 has always been a keeper.
