I have a 1984 corvette. I am changing the outer window sweeps on the doors. The ones I took off have a push in tab to the door and the new ones I got have clips to hold it on. I am lost why they are not the same, please help.

Reason: Add pic
I know how to change the window sweeps my problem is the old ones I took out of my 84 are different than the oems ones as you can see in the pic. I cant seem to find the right ones that have the push in style instead of the clip in style that holds them on.
I recently replaced these outer sweeps on my 85. I believe that the clip-in ones are your only option. There is a really good video on YouTube that shows you exactly what to do and what not to do (with one exception). Once clipped in place, the videographer tells you “not to use a metal screwdriver to smooth out the fit of the part of the sweep that goes alongside your paint”. But he uses a metal screwdriver to do it.
Use something like a guitar pick instead so that you don’t scratch your door.
if I could do it... you can do it. Just watch the video and take your time.
How can you make that determination (Cheap replacement vs the OEM replacement) by looking at that one pic? They look like just the GM OEM replacements that I bought for $100+ each a few months back.
