I'm using a 92 Vette as a donor car in a 57 Nomad . Would I be able to put a steering wheel from a 67 Chevelle on the 92 Vette column ? I know that column had an air bag but there won't be one in the nomad .
thanks

Not 100 percent sure... I know the earlier columns are the same as S10 columns mostly... I had the two next to each other. For the air bag, it's only a set of wires, the column doesn't completely change so that aspect is fine.
The '67 steering wheel has equal splines and the '92 SIR column has an indexing spline for the steering wheel to allow correct clocking of the SIR coil. There's likely an adapter/hub that would allow the use but I'd think there's maybe better choices.
There would be a substantial difference also the mating diameter of the '67 wheel to the 'key in column' shroud diameters. You could likely swap the upper tilt column shaft and then easily use any '69 to maybe '94 'non SIR' steering wheel that would match shroud diameters. You should be able to visually see the difference in the spline configurations.
