Default ICM Connector

Can anyone steer me in the right direction? The connector that plugs into the ICM on my LT4 is crumbled and i need a replacement. Where can i find a replacement? Also while i am at it ,should i relocate ICM to a cooler spot? My car has a Camber Brace and it would be a perfect spot to mount the ICM to keep it cool. THANKS IN ADVANCE for any help

Should be an easy find local. If you carry the OE # for the module to a 'local jobber' they should be able to likely convert that to a connector w/pigtail. A dealer could for sure accomplish the task and use the info they share to shop after-market in the area.

OE LT4 module I believe was originally 10482803.

Looks like maybe a GM 19329253/ ACD PT3215 might work to use as a reference for the after-market. It should be quite inexpensive in the after-market

Mail order $12 and of course the ship.

A local NAPA might have this and I believe it would actually work. I'd think they would have a module to check! EC113 - I used what I believe would have been an older ACD PT757. PICO which is quite popular would be a 5602PT/5602C, it could be the least expensive.

Others 'local' that should BWD - PT302, SMP- S551, Forecast - PS18

How about the benefits (or not) of moving the ICM to a cooler location that is off the block?

That's heavily debated. On the one hand, the engine is the largest heat sink on the car. O the other hand, it's warm by our standards.

On my ImpalaSS LT1 I put a couple of washers behind the heat sink plate on each bolt to space it away from the engine. Worked fine.
