I need a SCARECROW! HELP!!!
Ok, so a couple weeks ago i noticed scratches on my passenger side mirror .. a LOT of them.. and i was like WTF?!?!? SO i hit up my roommate about scratching it with his backpack in the garage getting into his car or something. He swore it wasn't him. So a few days ago I noticed scratches on my DRIVER's side mirror and all around the outter part of the top of my hood!! I got to thinking yesterday. I've seen some birds out in our parking lot that seem to want to break into cars. I saw a bird one time completely freaking out on this truck's windshield trying to get in. Soooo ... my guess is that some birds are using my mirrors a perches as well as the top part of my hood that they can actually stand on. The scratches aren't bad (the same kind of little scratch you get by rubbing your fingernail on the paint.. but WHAT DO I DO?!?! I never thought i'd have this problem, lol! Stupid birds!!!!! :mad :mad :mad :mad

I had birds here at work do that with my truck mirrors. They would sit on the bottom of the mirror housing and peck thier reflection. I didn't mind so much with the truck, but when they did it to my Caddy that was a problem. The solution was quite easy for me, I just parked in a different area of the parking lot away from foliage. That's one of the joys of black, you see every little imperfection.

Yeah this sucks.. i park away from everyone to keep it from getting scratched, and what happens???! This! Good thing the parking garage here at work will be done next semester and I'll be parking in it.

Buy some rubber snakes and place them on the hood. That will keep them away (my wife's grandfather does this and it works!!).
