I am looking for a place to purchase a FSM that I download. I do not have a computer that has a CD drive so buying the disk version would be useless for me. I have considered the books but prefer to just look up on my phone than risk getting oil, dirt or what ever on the pages or tear a page by accident. Found one or two places but they seem kinda sketchy and the one I thought was good ended up sending a hodgepodge of 1987-93 manual snippets with an entire electrical section missing. Any help would be appreciated
I'm sorry to say, but your best option is to just buy the CDs from RockAuto, then find a friend with a CD drive so you can grab the PDF files off of them. Or bring the CD to a FedEx store and have them email the PDFs on the CD to you.
Heck I could buy the CD for you and send you the PDFs too. But I figure you don't want to go through the trouble of sending me money when you could just pay RockAuto yourself.
Seems to me the easiest solution would be to buy the CD which is readily available and then scurry down to Best Buy with a whole twenty five dollars and buy a remote CD drive.
I have a 94 FSM that I borrowed an external CD drive for. The file is 676 MB so is no small bit.
I'd recommend as others in this thread to go the CD route and finding somewhere that you can use a drive. Maybe one of your friends or family has an older PC with one?
How about getting one downloaded to a dropbox account, then upload it to a memory stick. This way instead of dragging a $25 CD drive around, you can plug the memory stick anywhere.
How about answering the OP's question then if you know where to "get one downloaded to dropbox". That's what he wants to know.
How about stop being so snarky in your replies, I don't think I've seen a reply that you didn't "convey an attitude".
I am not at liberty to say anything, maybe a member will see and offer him. Why bother getting a $25 CD drive, when you can buy the download for a few bucks more
Then tell the OP where to accomplish his goal. I repeat - that's what he's asking for. Don't suggest something if you don't have a solution. Let other members look after their own replies or offers. By the way I don't need your permission to post. If you don't like what I have to say, then don't read it. Pretty simple isn't it? There's a saying, "Pigs don't roll in the **** because they have to, they do it because they want to."
I deleted my post because this is not the place to go back and forth(mature group here).
There is someone who MIGHT be able to help him on the forum. Post away I don't care, but you seem like one of the nastiest Canadians I've ever come across.
Maybe stop being a douche in most of your replies.
