Default dash light

Hi, I am considering buying a 1993 Ruby red 6 speed but the owner said the only thing wrong is dash light is on because of the adjustable shocks but it really doesn't effect the ride. Is this an expensive fix? Since it is a convertible would he be referring to the FX3 option and not the Z07 option for coupes? Thanks

So, it has FX3 and the "service ride control" light is on?

Here's some background info http://captainzcnc.com/index.html

If the adjustable shocks need to be replaced, yes that is very expensive. Most people facing this situation will install standard shocks (Bilstein, KYB, etc.) and then get bypass sensors that turn off the dash light by telling the computer that the (now removed) shocks are working fine.
All Z07 cars have the FX3 Adjustable Suspension combined with Z51 Performance Suspension. Not sure if any came with FX3 but without Z51.
