Default Will these work.

VERY NICE SET OF HYPER SILVER AND CHROME STAGGERED RIMS AND TIRES.. FRONTS ARE 18x8.5 WITH ET +38 OFFSET REARS ARE 18x9.5 WITH ET +43 OFFSET COME WITH 245s FRONT AND 275s REAR.
I have a 1990 vert. Will these work on it. I realize the front will be narrower as I'm running 275s all four corners right now.

Let's get the easy part out of the way first: you'll want 245/40/18 front tires and 275/35/18 rear tires. Hopefully that's what's on there.

Those are less offset than you'd really want on a later C4 (88-96). Stock, those had 56mm offset. Those front 8.5s with 38mm offset are going to still be within the fender edges, by about 3/4". They will have more scrub than was intended with that suspension, so you might get a little bit of odd steering feel, but I don't think it will be severe. The rears are going to sit about flush with the tops of the fender edges - so they'll be very close to sticking out. They'll physically fit without hitting anything, so it really comes down to looks. For both front and rear, you'll be adding a bit of load to the wheel bearings. However, if you aren't autocrossing or tracking it this probably won't matter much to their longevity.

Those tires will be about an inch taller than stock C4 tires. They might physically fit, or they might hit fender liners and such. They will definitely not perform well.

Ok thanks, saved me from buying something that will not fit well if at all. This forum is extremely helpful.

Ya those are the ones but I'm told they would not work well with my 1990. Too bad, I like the wheel and really like the price!

i bought some factory reproductions wheels for my 89 and also put them on my 96 and they fit perfectly. they were the c5 z06 style wheel with c5 offsets. fronts were 18 x 9.5 x 56?mm offset with 275/35-18 tires and the rears were 18 x 10.5 x ?mm offset with 295/35-18 tires.
