Default spark plug wire retainer help needed

Hello. I have a 1985 c4 Corvette that is missing all the spark plug metal and plastic retainers. I have searched high and low and can not find any original 85 ones for sale new or used. The 86 and above are different I'm guessing due to the newer style valve covers. I am wondering if the 86 and above would work on my 85. I have found many 86 and above for sale on Ebay. The pictures show the the 86 and above. Can not find picture of 85 to show the difference but they bolt to the lower valve cover bolts. Any help would be appreciated.. Thank you

Here's the part # and descriptions of the retainers used '85 - '88 from an '88 GM SPO Parts Catalog. You can find images of all on the 'WWW.' For perimeter valve covers I've my own idea of what's correct but since (you actually - borrowed snapshots) of the wrong supports.

14055123, 14055124, 14055125 & 14055126 should be correct for perimeter VC supports. Add 8917256 to the list of plastic retainers to look at.

In the '85 FSM 6D-3 & 6D-8 has an image of the LH rear of cylinder head support that I believe is quite accurate, RH would be similar. I edited some info in the earlier post also. In the same image sequence there's pretty accurate representations of the ones @ the VC.

I really thank you for your response. I am listing the pn numbers you gave me but none of them seem to help.

Please read my original post. The engine snap shots I posted are from the exact same 1985 corvette I own. Any thing after 1985 are different. I know you will see advertised retainer showing 1984-to what ever are wrong. Again thank you for lookiing into this for me and I'm guessing you could still be of help as well as others. If I'm wrong I would like to hear it.

Without finding the metal retainers the plastic ones won"t do me any good but as I asked originally maybe the 86 and above metal retainer set up shown in the first 2 pictures my work but I'm not sure. Again thank you
