I went and got the 885's for my '96. Is there an easy way to change them? It looks as though there is only a small hole in the fiberglass (not big enough to fit your hand into to reach the inside socket). What is the quickest and easiest way to do it? TIA :)
I got them in there just laying on the garage floor. Wasn't too hard. THe thing is... I didn't have 880 bulbs in there  they were 896's. The 885's fit right in there, though I'm not sure if they are any brighter than the 896's. I think my buddy at NAPA said he had 894's in his Camaro SS, and I thnk the 896's were upgrades to the 894's   . I'll have to look into this in further detail. The ones I took out were different than the 885's in that the plug comes out sideways not from the bottom.
Sure enough, the 896's are 50w just like the 885's :mad good thing they were only $6/ea. Oh well, now I have new bulbs anyway and won't have to worry about them blowing out anytime soon. And I have spares now
