Default C4 Convertible Storage

Stupid question, and I should know the answer. But, C4 convertible storage. Is there any?

Absent mounting a luggage rack, I would assume the only storage is in the footwell?

Thx.

When the top is up, you have the space behind the seats, plus there are two small storage bins in the floor of that area as well. You can always "stuff" some things right behind each seat.

That's about it.

Early C4 has no storage area, they have speakers behind the seats, later models have those speakers in the back wall.

Always use soft luggage and coolers.

It's tight for long road trips, especially with a passenger, but it can be done. I've taken my '94 ragtop on numerous road trips. Pack as light as possible, use soft bags, ask whether you REALLY need to take each item. Plastic garbage bags make ideal luggage. There's more space with the top up. The ragtop takes up precious cargo space when stowed. Consider shipping cargo separately, if you just can't fit in stuff that must get there.

Live well,

SJW

You would be amazed how much you can pack into a convertible with a little planning. As previously mentioned, soft luggage is your friend. My wife and I have taken several week long roadtrips in our 89, you just have to pack only what you need.

Yup. We easily fit two good size soft bags in the back, plus a few smaller ones on either side. My wife is on the short side, so we had room behind the passenger side as well.

Default Bags

I can carry more on my Harley Road King. Harley has a short tour pack. I bought two short tour pack liners, there a soft bag with zipper tops. They fit under the stored corvette top, plus a little room between them, they work great.

I have a soft tool bag and fire extinguisher I keep in the car in the toneau well. When traveling the wife and I each have a soft bag for closes, but that means the top has to be up to reclaim that room. I wish that the car had a luggage rack but that's just a wish.
