Hello, I have a 1989 Corvette coupe. Has anybody ever bought a interior screw kit. The main screws I need are the two screws that screws in your dash pad by the windshield defrost vents. Do they come with these two screws? Also which company do you recommend buying this kit from? Thanks, Bill
The screw kit is good to have on hand. I bought one Forget where I bought it, though It was only around 20-25 dollars as I recall.
Best to pick up a bag of felt washers, too. I did. Forget where I got em, though. Gets rid of all of the little squeaks and rattles without having to risk over-tightening them to the point that stuff starts cracking.
That's a nice kit, especially if you keep a some older GM cars around. If I didn't grab a pocketful of interior screws everytime I went to the Pull-a-Part, I'd definatley get one of these.
Some if the best money spent, the one I got from Keen had them all labeled. Eventually you’ll pull stuff apart and lose some so it’s nice to have on hand
I want to thank everyone who responded. I took my upper Dash Pad and lost two screws by the defrost vents. Hopefully these kits will have the screws I need. I am definitely buy a kit and I agree it is good to have this kit on hand.
