I have been searching and searching but the bladders do not exist to buy. It looks like we have to make our own.

Has anybody ever tried to use C5 bladders?

I looked into them late last year. After some digging I found who actually made them. They told me the factory in China who they contracted with closed. They said they may look for another factory in the future and make them again, but it would be at least a year or so because they're not high on the priority list. So new bladders are not available now. I think someone here had a thread about making them from rubber gloves.

A few years ago someone on here mentioned using the bladders from blood pressure cuffs.

I used the bladders from blood pressure cuffs to make lumbar bladders for my ruby convertible. They work very well. you need to find a way to mount them on something that will hold them in place. I inserted them in ziplock bags and taped the bags to a stiff piece of material that would hold the bags in place in the seatback.
