Default Door Ajar Circuit

Hi guys. I am having trouble with my 96. When I first bought it the courtesy lights would not come on and radio would not stop when I opened the driver door to get out. I noticed the door ajar switch was missing. I ordered a new switch and installed it but it did not change anything. When I open the passenger side door the courtesy lights on both doors come on and the radio stops. All power accessories on the driver door work accept for the door ajar switch and the hatch lid open button (common circuit?). Any ideas where to start on this? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

I'd test the driver's door harness for continuity, to the BCM (Called the CCM in '92)

Ok, so what I am finding in the manual is the LH door ajar switch connects at input D16 (BLK/WHT wire) and C1 (GRY wire) on the CCM. If I am reading the diagram correctly then the black and white wire also goes to the hatch release and then continues to ground. So that being said, I am not the best at electronics so, Is D16 pin 16 on the D connector that goes to the CCM and C1 is pin one on C connector on the CCM?

Thanks for any help.
