Hi all
looking for some advise. I need to get a set of 4 new tires for my 86 They are 255/50/ZR16.
I thought I saw that some one had posted where they bought these tires from online somewhere in the $130 dollar range each.
Does anyone have that information?
thanks and happy Memorial Day to everyone
for the price you're looking at, that might be the entry level Toyo. I bought them last year because I was on a budget for the car and that's all i wanted to spend and i have to say...I do not like them at all. I typically buy Continentals.
Somebody in my welcome thread suggested I get Riken Raptors for my 92, I have never heard of them. I have had them for about 3 weeks, no complaints thus far. They were pretty cheap.

So, I found BF Goodrich 255/50Zr16 at a place called discounted wheel warehouse. I just paid $129 a tire plus $10 dollars shipping. They are the exact same tire that is on my car now.
Wanted to share in case anyone is looking for tires at a good price
You can find the oem size tires for the early C4's, big thing is to check the date codes on the tires. The other year when I was looking for tires the ones I found was about a year old for 2 and more on the other 2. I decided to go a slightly different route on mine. I found some 18"x9.5" rims with a 40 backspace on them. Next was some 255x40 18" tires. This combo turned out to the be same diameter and offset as the oem tires and there's a whole lot more selections available.
It's turned out very good for me, they drive and ride fine and no complaints.

I got my tires today from discounted wheel warehouse that I ordered online on 5/30/21. They are perfect 255/50/ZR16 (date code 0321)and I spent $129 and change plus $10 dollars shipping each.
They shipped from California to New Jersey
Awesome deal and I would recommend to anyone to use them

When I ordered mine they actually origin scanned from a warehouse here in NJ. I had 2/4 within 36 hours of ordering iirc.
All my date codes were good too. May 2020 iirc. I ordered them in October I believe.
