Having my C4 repainted
Its been due for paint for a few years as I was starting to get little cracks and bubbles in the old paint in several spots, so if I wanted the car to look nice there wasn't much choice. And if I was going to do the whole car might as well do it a color I really liked/wanted and have it done right, so that's how my thinking went. Not sure if it'll be the last vette I ever own (i'm only 34) but i've had it for 18 years and don't plan to sell for the foreseeable future.
I replaced the hood and bumpers, but the material cost alone was over $5000.
Never thought I would put "Mud Flaps" on a Corvette, but when you hear those rocks bagging on your $13,000 paint job ... you might look into them.
Found some black ones that are barely noticeable and they help a lot, keeping rocks and road grease, etc. off your rockers.

I sunk a ton into a 20 yr old truck despite lots of cricitism....it hurt spending/charging for sure but it is SO worth it every time I look at it.
Do it right with good materials it will hold up for many yrs...its those cheapy jobs that start fading in 3 yrs.
Beats a new car payment and you can still work on a c4. The whole car market is kind there..lease/return, have deep pockets to pay someone as they are so complex or sink $ into something old and keep long term.
