Default Adjust headlight door panel left-right (gap) ?

I know how to adjust the headlight door panel up and down (in-out to level it) using both the stop bumper and loosening the screws on the door panel and lifting it and aligning it.

However, my headlight door panel is not adjusted left-right (east-west). You can see the gap is much larger to left edge than the right (this is the Left driver door, and the larger gap is to the outside of the car)

gap too close at left, and too wide at right

The "horseshoe" bracket doesn't have any "play" or adjustment that I can see. It bolts up with no play. The door panel doesn't seem to allow any left-right adjustment in either the panel or the connecting piece.

no left-right adjustment

backstory -- I replaced the gear bushings on the right headlight, so I thought I should do the same on the left. (The left headlight hasn't been well aligned since I bought the Z)When I removed the bracket, one of the mounting tabs was broken. I had a used "horseshoe" bracket, so I transferred the light to it and installed it. Now, I can get things fairly level, but the gap is too close on the inside.

If you have any ideas, let me know. TIA.
