Default Tail lights replacements
Is there not any easy way to change out the tail lights and prevent them from constantly going out ?

Constantly going out points to an electrical problem.

Changing them isn't all that bad, but yeah... it could be easier than this if GM wanted exposed fasteners, which they were A-OK with on the later cars:
