Power Antena

I have a 1987 Corvette and just installed a new power antenna and relay switch. The antenna seems to perform nicely going up and down except there's a loud buzzing noise that lasts about 3-5 seconds after the antenna is fully extended or retracted. I'm using the antenna with a stock Bose radio system. Any thoughts on how to correct the buzzing? Thanks.

Where is the buzzing from? Speakers? Driver's side rear?

Jerry it’s coming directly from the power antenna. I can put my hand on the main body and feel the buzzing

you replaced just the mast or entire aftermarket motor unit?

I replaced the whole unit with an aftermarket antenna from Corvette Central. They offer only one unit that is compatible. I believe all wiring incl the ground is wired correctly. I replaced the relay hoping that would solve the problem.
