Hi Corvette forum, I am in need of a good, honest Corvette mechanic. I have front end bearings failing, making a loud roaring noise when turning the wheels, thanks
Shouldn't be a problem. There are at least 3 Corvette specialty shops within an hour or two's drive from me. On of them has been maintaining my C4 for 16 years.

Out of curiosity, are any of those three down south - Auburn / Puyallup? I'm in Buckley / Enumclaw and with any luck by C4 will run flawlessly for decades......but.....you never know.

1) Wong's Performance Engineering. Tom Wong is one of the top corvette tuners in the PNW his shop in in Vancouver WA. https://www.wongsperformance.com/
3) Brads Custom Auto These folks have been maintaining my C4 & C5 for the past 16 years. Brad and all of his mechanics are racers or former racers. They are meticulous and very safety conscious. My view is that they are worth the drive to north Seattle but be advised they are often booked out month's in advance. (no paint or body work)
Wong knows his stuff, pleasant guy to deal with. Did a nice mail order tune, not many fooling with these cars anymore
Yea, its getting harder to find a good mechanic that works on older stuff - although a C4 hardly seems to qualify as older, but I suppose they are getting up there.
I’m using Full Throttle out on Steele st. Tacoma 98444 . If you want Steve’s number message me . Everyone that Mr Peabody mentioned have great reputations up here . I was recommended Mr. Wong also for an actual dyno tune . I haven’t got that far yet. But , the guys at Full Throttle handle our cars and there is currently a c5 on one of the racks . My car is there right now . Cheers to Washington State Corvette Brothers
