Having hard time finding a replacement power antenna for a 91. Any ideas? Probably hard to find an original equipment replacement

 

Try Davies Corvette Parts. They may still have some OEM antenna assemblies in stock. Replace the entire assembly, not just the mast.

 

What exactly is the problem with yours?

If it's just that it fails to go up/down and the motor runs, you can replace just the mast and cable inexpensively. It's not a hard job to do.

 

Thanks. That's what I'm looking for, to replace the whole unit.

 

It won't be fun to install. Also, get a new grommet too.

 

I didn't think the job was bad at all. Remove the rear wheel & wheel well housing and everything is easily accessed. Agree on the grommet replacement.

 

Did you first try to rub lube on the shaft and polish it and see if it rises?

Seriously, it is a bit difficult to get the ground if you install the antenna. IIRC, you should get everything close, ground it and then bolt it up.
