EST wire
I am getting mixed opinions as to where and what color the EST (electric spark timing) wire is. My FSM does not give me any information as to the color of the wire. I have been told it is brown or tan, or tan or brown with black running through it. Both of the wires near my brake booster are consider brown not tan. I have been told it is a butterfly clip and near the brake booster. I have 2 wires near the brake booster. One solid tan or brown, and one another tan or brown with a black strip running through it. Since this is vital in setting the timing on the crossfire I would think the FSM would be more specific. .

I took a quick look at the FSM(just because I had one) and it seems to be Circuit 424 which is TAN/BLK and the connector in the 8A section is C474. Image 8A-18 on 8A-23, 8A-17 ignition diagram seems to confirm that. An owner should be around soon I'd think.
Can't/couldn't you also just disconnect the C206 connector at the distributor harness?
