Extremely Rough Cold Idle
1990 L98. The car has developed (suddenly) a very, very bad rough idle at start up. Its also hard starting. When I say bad I mean the whole car shakes pretty bad. The only way I can keep it running is to continually pump the gas peddle. It continues until it reaches operating temperatures and then smooths out and idles fine. It did throw a code 45 "rich exhaust, o2 sensor". Replaced the o2 with no improvement. Have checked for vacuum leaks (none). Also, if I start it everyday it fires right up and idles fine. Its only after it sets 4 or more days between start ups that this happens. Can the IAC cause rough idle only at cold start? I'm kind of at a loss as to which direction to head next. Any suggestions?
