Well, I FINALLY got my (POST) Zaino pics up on the site. It's fairly dark(late in the day), but you can get an idea of what the shine looks like so far... It's really making the paint look 'deep' though... http://www.indy96.com/vette.htm
That's not an ignorant question at all, and I'll give you the short, abridged version. About a year ago, someone took it upon themselves to "sell" one of my vehicles for me, on Ebay. They used the link to my site, my pictures, and all my info. Come to find out it was someone who worked at Ebay, and got all my PayPal info to. It was a costly, long, pain in the **** affair that I will not repeat. Now I stamp all my photos so they can't be used. That's not to say someone can't do the same thing over again, but, this way it sticks out a little bit more. Maybe it protects me, maybe it doesn't
Plus, I used to run a lot of searches on Ebay, especially where my Indy Ram was concerned, and found people using my pictures to sell THEIR (beat) version of an Indy... So it comes down to covering one's ****...
Edit: You know, I just read that over a couple times, and it seems a little extreme to me too! So, thanks for pointing that out, I'm going to yank them off the Vette pictures!!!
Jeff :yesnod:
Am I going nuts or what? Were all those pictures taken the same day? It looks like in some of the pictures the walls are bare and in some they are insulated. Maybe I should get another beer...
Good thing, I thought I was going crazy. I'm doing the same thing to my garage so I can do some work over the winter months on my new baby. I guess we think a bit alike. It looks as though you could use thicker insulation though. Is your garage 2x4 or 2x6? If it's 2x6 you want to use R-19 insulation, 2x4 would be R-11. My garage is 2x6 and it looks like you still have some space for more or you stapled it to the inside of the studs. The paper should be wide enough for you to staple it to the fronts of the studs. ??? Hmmm...now I'm thinking maybe I'm doing it wrong and should staple it to the inside...
Well, I'm stapling it to the inside because I'm putting up a vapor barrier and then some wallboard... I'm not sure what TYPE of wallboard yet, but something. I could have gone to the outside, but I like the look of tacking it inside the studs for some odd reason.. I don't think either way is "right" or "wrong" as long as the insulation is there :)
