Default Value ?

Ok guys help me out PLEASE !

I have a 1989 .....6sp. manual ZR1 car .
54k original miles . 2 owner and 1st owner was my late father. EVERYTHING works , no cracks in dash or sport wrap around power seats . Removable hard top car in MINERAL GREY ...no trouble lights on . Paint is 8 or 9 out of 10 ...1 dime size bubble on hardtop and rear clip is BEGINNING to fade , but you gotta look hard. I'm 50 , so it's STORED right in winter ( Indpls) and it's been regularly serviced. ITS A REALLY fun car , it HANDLES way better than I expected for a 32 y/o car and I get OFFERS on it every time I drive it ....I always get " What would it take to buy it , cash " all the time , but I DONT KNOW what it's really worth ?.....My kids are GROWN and never learned how to drive a manual, ( I tried , trust me ) and aren't " into " cars so saving it for 1 of them doesn't make much sense either , should I just KEEP it or should I sell it ? ...if I sell , what # sounds about right ?
someone help me , please ......thank you

If you like it, can afford it(I assume yes) and time to drive it....keep it! To find a car in that condition (you know it, your Dad owned it) is going to be hard to find. Sounds like you can get top dollar, but again if you like it and don't need the money, enjoy it,. you can sell it down the line and probably get more.

Not a fan of sport seats or Z51 but thats the way most of those came.

Were all the 1990 ZR1's hard tops?
If you scroll to the bottom of this Car and Driver link it says the 1990 ZR1 they tested is a 2 door targa top.
Look under "specifications" and "vehicle type".
I've seen other cars listed as 1990 ZR1s that have targa roofs.

Tested: 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 (caranddriver.com)

A simple engine pic would clear this up real quick.
there was no such thing as a FRC ZR1 so we can put that to rest right now. All ZR1’s were dual roof equipped as far as I know. At least every one that I’ve seen up here in the great white north.

All C4 "coupes" had the removable targa top. Didn't matter if it was a regular C4 or a ZR-1

The confusion sometimes comes into play, because there was a "Removable Hard Top" option for the convertible cars.
But there were no convertible ZR-1 cars, as they were all coupes. And they all had the removable targa top like any other C4.

So, still waiting for the OP to come back and clarify what he really has.
He says it is a '89 ZR-1
Well, it can't be a ZR-1 if it is an '89
And it can't be a ZR-1 if it is a convertible with a removable hard top.

Pictures of the car will let everyone know exactly what it is. Especially a pic from the rear, and one of the engine.

Yeah, actually it CAN be a 1989 ZR-1
