Rear bumper conversion?

I just remembered posting a thread detailing my cars "history" (really it's transformation). In 2019, I created a thread here -- if anyone is interested in seeing better pics of how far I went. As with the wild direction I ended up after the need to swap/fix my fuel injectors (and built a 383), I also started with the idea of ONLY wanting to convert to the ZR1 style rear bumper -- with integrated early moldings. I completely blew way past that notion! LOL
Back then there was a member (Red Tornado) that wanted to know how a body mod was going to make the car go faster! He got under my skin -- which played a small part in how far I ultimately went. But, where I landed had nothing to do with other's expectations -- in looks OR performance.
If I hadn't already repainted the entire car, having the original, round-light rear end with a Greenwood wing might be nice? But, really, now that I have some [hobby] glass experience, I wish I had bonded wide flairs to the wheel wells -- in addition to how it currently sits. At the time, I was too chicken.
If you read the linked post, you'll see I was a huge fan of C3's first....which I also would have liked to bought, converted, and turned into a "resto-mod". I guess outcomes can be a culmination of "whims"!
A 427 Stingray with sidepipes and wide-flairs has always been my favorite Corvette. I suppose some "base" owners wish they could have bought a ZR1?
