Default Compatibility between converters

Hello everyone !

When replacing my trans, I need to change my torque converter on my 1986 C4 (30 splines). I have ordered an 2200 but, after thinking, just want original low stall.

On RockAuto, only one reference is available for my year (part B29DHPF) : https://www.rockauto.com/fr/moreinfo...=4996410&jsn=7
-> fits on : "CHEVROLET CORVETTE 1984-2004"... and many Chevy's from 80/90's with 700r4 and 4L60(E).

In an local french ad, due to an error on his order, someone is selling a new converter for 4L60e (30% off on it compared to full price), bought on RockAuto too (part B29DHHF) : https://www.rockauto.com/fr/moreinfo...=4996407&jsn=7
-> fits on : "CHEVROLET CORVETTE 1994" and several Chevy's. But not only GM... But fits on Camaro 305ci, but not L98.

I didn't manage to find technical differences. On each description, they are the same, but not compatible between all the same cars.
Is the second compatible for 1994 C4 will fit on my L98 1986 ?

Thanks

I found little difference on a website :
http://www.jandhtransmission.com/sit...l60e_2010.html

The first model :
Converter #B29DHPF
4L60, 4L60E
12" diameter, slots in hub,
3 mounting pads,
30 splines, 1397 stall with brazed impeller,
#100 woven graphite clutch weep holed

The second model :
Converter #B29DHHF
4L60, 4L60E
12" diameter, slots in hub,
3 mounting pads,
30 splines, 1397 stall with brazed impeller,
#110 carbon filled clutch

I presume the 2 models fit on my C4.
Only minor differences on the TCC quality maybe ?

I would get the code and numbers off the tag on the transmission, a photo of tag could be e-mailed. Then email you request to vendor of your choice. Have them suggest a good. better, and best part choice, then decide.. The. ID tag will indicate the particulars to your transmission reducing chance of wrong part.

Thanks guys !

In 1986, it's 30 splines
I know that I should dissasemble trans, to look at converter serial. But I don't know if it's original, and I'd like to save time if possible.
I'd like to know if technically, the both converters I quoted should work as well as each other in L98
If anyone knows, that would be nice !
Thanks again

Ok thank you
I presume I won't feel any difference with one or other.
