hello again everyone, on my ‘96 LT4 my right rear turn signal doesn't work, I've had the bulb replaced, but no dice. A local vette shop recommended I replace the socket next (and if that doesn't work it may be “signal switch”?)
i am curious if any of you have done this before? is it pretty straightforward?
I replaced a tail light socket - 96 coupe. Pretty straightforward yet tedious and fiddly. Lot of trying to reach through license plate hole, bend your wrist and work blind. Maybe there's a better way ? It is one of those "takes more time than it should" deals for me.

it may be unavoidable at this point for me
so just to give more detail, looks like all the bulbs work and light up - but the right side blinker does not blink at all for the front or rear of the car. and the right green arrow on the dash is always lit
replaced the flasher and the rear light now blinks! yay
but the front turn signal doesnt blink. instead, the little amber light in the front side blinks. any ideas why? when the lights are flipped up the turn signal bulb lights up, so i know the bulb works. it just doesnt blink. also the right arrow on the dash still stays on. thinking of replacing the front socket next
