I recently replaced my headlight motor for my passenger headlight. I had some problems with it going the wrong way but i got that all straightened out, now there’s one last problem i have to figure out. When the headlight closes, it doesn’t open again, when i mess with the manual **** it seems super tight then when j finally break it loose it’s able to go up. it happens everytime i turn my lights off, i looked around the forum and i can’t seem to find anyone else having this problem. It seems like it’s over torquing the motor then it’s not able to get it back up. Any ideas?
Did you rebuilt it, or replace with another motor?
i replaced it with another motor, but i had to mess with the new one because when it came it went go the wrong way, but it’s always has this overtorquing problem
Not seeing the actions and rebuilt few in my days with C4 and buddies, I would open it up, and make sure it was re-build properly, or is there something in the housing binding.

I had to open it up to add more grease and i took a look inside, it’s running super smooth now at least it seems that way i’m not an expert or anything. My guess is there’s some sort of adjustment i have to make
