Early C4 wheels
Hi everyone. I have an 84 corvette with a Z51 suspension. I purchased a set of 17 X 11 ZR-1 wheels and low profile tires and would like to get rid of the original wheels. I have a set of early C4 wheels for sale. They are 16 X 9.5 all around. I'm not sure if the 84 have 9.5 all around for Z51 but these wheels are in superb condition. The rubber on two of them is brand new and the other two are a lot more worn but easily usable. Can someone please tell me what I can get approximatly for these wheels? I am willing to go on e-bay or sell them privatley. I have no idea what they would go for. If anyone is looking for a great set of original wheels let me know. My second question is that I also have a ground effect kit. The car looks like it has about an 1" that can be lowered. Can the Z51 be lowered as is or do I need to buy a kit? If so where can I get one? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

All 84 had 8.5" wide wheels at the front. On the rear the base model had 8.5" and the Z51 had 9.5" wide wheels.

Do you need adapters to make the ZR1 wheels fit?????
I have an '84, and am thinking of going for these rims...they just look so darn :cool:

The wheels I got are specially offset for the 84. They do stick out a little bit. I ordered the Grand Sport flares from CC so problem will be solved. They look incredible with the ground effects. They came with Dunlop low profile tires. Very nice setup.
