I just bought some miscellaneous C4 items and an airfoil was included without the screw. Does anyone know the size of the screw? It was basically free, so with some locktite I might as well use it.

Don't waste your time. That thing will do nothing!
Take it to the hardware store and start "GENTLY" trying. How could anyone know? It could be a Chinese knockoff (so metric) one made somewhere else (so metric/inch?) ?
If you have a set of dial calipers, gently measure the diameter of the hole. This will give you the approximate "minor diameter" of the thread which you should be able to look up on a thread chart and get you a start. Don't forget to convert to metric also. The conversion unit is .03937 so inches measurement divided by .03937 = mm. Or just Google inches to mm and you will find an online calculator.
You can also use the size you measured to find the tap drill size on thread charts. That is the other way.
Strange but on my LT1 48mm throttle body there is nowhere for the screw to go. Do you think this is for a L98 TB?
TIA
take the top plate off the top of the throttle body, there is a hole for the air foil screw. i believe the screw in the air foil is metric. just take the foil to a hardware store and they can match threads. only issue is the length of the screw but if you buy a longer screw than necessary, they can be cur down.
You have to have the little rectangle looking thing also, that goes in the hole after you take the top plate off, the screw goes into it.
sorry, i screwed up my answer to your question, partially. but you still have to remove the top plate to be able to insert the backing nut and then insert screw thru the foil and thru the t-body from the front and tighten. its been many years since i did one of those.
Thanks for the replies guys! If I had the screw I would probably try it. I only have the airfoil, no backing nut. Maybe someone will buy it from me because they believe in the air foil. The thing was included in a a lot of C4 items so it was worth a try...
