Picked up this 90' Convertible to mess with for awhile. It needs a little love but should be fun. Hopefully I won't have to come here for too much help, rather just sharing some of the work and fun along the way. Thanks. Hope everyone enjoys the weekend!
The PO must taken decent care of it, the exterior looks pretty clean. Thats usually a good sign there hasn't much neglected. Have fun with the new ride.
Nice Car, The 1990 Corvette was a big leap forward in interior design, love them or hate them, the Digi dash was ditched in 1990, and the C4 got a more modern cluster. Also the Rims of the car lost the center caps, and the 5 bolt pattern was visible again. Iv'e owned them both, and i like the more modern interior a lot better. [although the digi dash is cool at night], unfortunately much harder to see in a convertible on a sunny day.
The TPI engine other than a few electronic glitches, is a strong engine, not overly difficult to work on, and they run forever if properly maintained.
Good luck enjoy the ride.
PS.
Red/Red, is the bee knees!

A few other odds and ends but so far it seems like a solid car. Enjoying it whenever possible. Thanks for the compliments.
I just wanted to put an update on the C4 up as I had originally meant to keep up with this a bit better. Life gets a little crazy once in a while. This car was finally feeling well sorted as of last fall and is still running well this spring. I'm just getting down to annoying things like the nearly useless weather stripping. For now I'm guessing it only leaks when it rains, thus a good all-weather cover lives on this car when it's outdoors. Otherwise as a fair weather car it does the job. I'm hoping to enjoy it more this summer but eventually it will need to be sold. Having two Corvettes around is getting silly. I hope everyone is enjoyng their rides now that the weather is coming around.
Pulled then entire intake and got a lot of cleaning and maintenance done last year. No more pesky warning lights from the EGR. All fully functioning. The radio had been poorly cobbled at one time with front speakers totally missing. I put in a Pioneer system with all new speakers and correctly tied into the wiring harness. Even the antenna goes up and down...
