Default Value on 95 6 speed

Red 95 with Black Guts
49,000 miles
Excellent Paint - nearly perfect
Excellent Interior
New tires
New weatherstripping
2nd owner adult driven
6 speed stick

I have looked up Nada and kelly blue book but we know the market is different then these values especially when C5's are dropping like rocks.

What do you all feel is the fair value of this c4?

KBB has it at about 13500 for private party sale...., retail at 17550.00

I am buying a 95 Vert 6sp with 41K miles for 17 (about a grand more than KBB). Mine listed at 15905.00 Private party and 20425.00 retail.

My 1995 coupe with 111,000 miles, but relatively good interior and exterior would probably sell for around $12,000.

Alot has to do with the part of the country you're in. Up here you'd get 16k or 17k easy.

I agree. Private parties will be a bit cheaper, but I went with a dealer purchase for warranty purposes. But, I got my '95, low miles, (came from CA), paint near mint, interior perfect and full 4 year bumper to bumper warranty for $17k. The warranty alone is well over $1k. Now, had I gone private party, the same car would have been $15k+/-, but your out in the cold if something dies on the car......

This particular person said that they would let it go for $16,000.
My mechanic feels that he would be interested at $14,500 or $14,000.
(he has not seen the car --- just based on what he feels what a 95 is worth in todays market)
Supposedly it is in great shape

Always Garaged -- new tires, great paint and interior.

Do you feel $16,000 is way to high??

I'm supposed to take a look at it later this week, toying with the idea of selling the 92 that has 123,000 miles and getting into the 95.

I figure if I got $8-10k for the 92, it might be worth the $6k-$8k to step up 3 years especially since the 95 only has 49,000 miles.

I am not worried about my 92 going 200,000 miles its just that right now it has original clutch still and there is always the chance that i will get some big bills down the road.

Let me know your thoughts

I hope everyone has a great Christmas!!! :smash:

I , personally, don't think that's all that bad for a low mile '95. I looked online tonight at a couple of local dealers(in my area) and that seems to be average to low for what they are selling for, even this time of year.

After an inspection of this car today, I have decided to not purchase it.
Things I noticed:
Many Chips
Resprayed Car
Misaligned bumper / Collision
Excessive pedal wear

Thanks for the price estimates.
