Well I hate to bring bad news around the holidays.
A friend and good car buddy of mine was in a serious car accident lastnight around 1:30. He was driving his Mustang Cobra when he lost control skidding off the road flipping the car 3 times....it finally came to rest on the back deck of a house. Police say that Speed and Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash :mad Someone that saw the crash said that he was "racing" another car.....that car drove away leaving him thier by himself with no help :mad :mad When police showed up he had no pulse but they were able to revive him.
He was transfered to Indianapolis IU Medical Center this morning for further treatment. He has flatlined once since then, and is in a coma. He has many broken bones which docors say are the least of his problems. We would greatly appreciate your prayers to be with him and his family tonight and though the holiday season.
Thanks in advance guys...every little bit counts :blueangel:
You got his first name? I'm always glad to bring something to the Lord; It's just nice to have a name, although He already knows. I meet with the Man between 5:30 and 6:00 AM. I won't forget your friend.
danny ;)
:( :( :( :(
Very, Very sorry to hear about that. Right before the holidays, that is terrible. Alcohol and fast cars never mix. He will definately be in my prayers over the holiday weekend. :blueangel:
Sounds like your friend is one tough cookie. To live through that wreck, and to come back, and back again... he's a real fighter on the inside. Some knucklehead in Illinois is thinking of him right now (me). My heart goes out to him and his family. :blueangel:
And, to the cold human being that left the scene, may it haunt that person forever. :reddevil
I have survived heroic and foolish times because of the grace of God. I pray you have the strenght to endure to help others close to Robert and for Robert himself. How strong yet fragile we are. Please keep us posted.
