Well, I met with the claims adjuster and my friend (bodyman) today...Well..looks like all systems are a go. She said "Ohh man, DEFINATELY this hood will be REPLACED." Then she proceeded to say "Yeah, we'll take care of the hood, doors, and quarter panels, and I will FORCE the body shop to pay for the portion that they made YOU pay out of YOUR pocket." (This portion being the entire rear clip) So, I go pick up my rental car in the morning, and my car goes in to start getting torn down. :D My friend said he'd get started on it February 1st, because he wants to wait till the weather clears up and he can let it sit out in the sun and cure better. (He knows best ) So..I'll get some pics of my rental car. Pretty good christmas present eh? :D
That sounds like great news. One tip I learned the hard way. When you go pick it up make sure that you turn the headlights on and check the buckets for color match. I didn't and the color is just ever so slightly different...

Im glad its now being fixed, but why does it take so long to dry out? I do body work for a living, and it kinda sounds like an excuse to put you off cause he has other stuff to work on! Does he work outside, no roof over his head, or what about heat?
