I've read a bunch of the threads on the mirror wind deflectors, but they're all several years old now, so it's hard to figure out what's still out there. I had read that some aftermarket ones were of poor quality, and some as good as OEM. I was wondering which of the aftermarket wind deflectors are any good nowadays, if any? I'd really like a set, but don't want to waste money on poorly fitting junk.
I can tell you they make a huge difference. My 91 didn't have them and with the windows down there was quite a breeze hitting you in the face. When i bought the 95 prior owner had deflectors on it and it was "wow" that's an improvement. I don't know who made them. but glad to have them.
Yeah, the air coming in is very turbulent. I can't stand it, it produces a thumping sound that drives me nuts, but I'd really like to drive with the windows down on a cool day.

If you decide and give up, I see corvettemods sells them at cheap price, they use to be vender here and was removed from poor support.
Lots of Corvette vendors sell them, but at one point in time according to what I read, they were not all the same quality. I see that Corvette Central has two options, one for around $85/pair, and claimed to be factory style repros. Another is $31/set, double sided tape attachment, and also supposedly repros. Is the $85 set any better, or do they just have rivet holes in them? Who knows, lol. I may just order the cheap ones and see how they fit.
The wind deflectors make a huge difference if you drive with the windows down. They really cut down the noise and buffeting.
Mine were installed by a dealership way back when I had my Vette in for warranty work. These are the pop-rivet style.
No problems for last 25 years.
Zip Corvette and Mid America show them on their websites, however it appears neither have any stock now.

Note that the $85 unit is for ONE. The $31 item is for the PAIR.
I never liked the shape of the OEM part so I made my own. The plan was to make a pattern, mold then make the finished part. I got as far as the finished MASTERS for a mold. I've got some projects to get out of the way but when I start working on my Z I'll get these done and sell a few sets. These are 100% better looking than anything else out there. They fit the inside of the mirror like a glove and close the gap completely between the mirror and weather stripping. There is enough material here that they can be cut down if desired. Here's an odd fact, one of the mirror housings is actually longer the the other.
Those look great! Any quality part for C4s would be well received, especially given all the aftermarket junk that's out there. I've had to send back or junk so many "reproduction" parts, I'm now leary of ordering anything else for the car. I could swear most of these parts where never even test fit to an actual C4.

The hardest part is done, just need to figure out how to duplicate these. I'm thinking 3D printing but know very little about the process.
