Default Seat bracket help

Can anyone tell me about what height the seat brackets need to be? I bought a set of seats that have the sliders on them but there are no brackets. Planning on making my own, but I need to know about what height they should be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The ideal height for you would depend on your torso length and personal preference. You'll have to figure that out for yourself, we can't tell you.

TIP: start stacking 1/2" thick boards under your seat until you like the seat height. That's the height of the brackets you need.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. When I posted the question, I was fishing for the height of the factory seat brackets, but your advice makes more sense than making something universal when it's already going to be custom, may as well be custom to my liking.
