Does or has anyone here ever had a Callaway LM? I'd give my left nut (never want kids anyways... ) to have one or the parts to make mine into one.
Not sure if you have seen one up close but, It is far more than just a body kit. The entire front end tilts forward to reveal a pair of carbon fiber wheel wells. Between that and the carbon fiber headlight buckets and all the other details that go into this body, expect to pay at least three times what a Callaway Aerobody costs, painted & fitted
There were 4 real Callaway LeMans cars out there (An LT5 TT Speedster w/ the only hardtop ;) , a ZR1, and a pair of SNAT LT1's) and a few "clones" that based upon the one car I saw in pic's was HORRIBLE :U (it was a clone done by an italian firm and Callaway cars sued to top their production  )
I have never seen a LeMans for sale (yet)
Check out the issue of VETTE Magazine on the ZR1 Lemans from a few mos. ago.
Hope this helps
I have the 2' x 4' BFG poster with the LM on it. I know Callaway has a full write up on it with all of the specs. I didnt realize it was so limited that only 4 vehicles were made. After a McLaren F1, its my second dream road car.
I have seen the one on the cover of the current vette magazine. It a cool car It was at 2002 Carlise. I not sure how many were built. I'm guessing less than a handful  :steering:
A friend of mine owns one. It is quite possibly the most beautiful car I have ever seen. His is a dark blue super natural. There is no way to change a stock vette into a LM, Callaway doesn't sell them anymore and the one company that tried to make a knock off had 2 problems
1) it was **** poor and
2) callaway put a stop to that.
I think that picture was Photoshopped before I took it and modified it. Take a look at the background, especially the plants. Right above the spoiler they look out of place, and right above the hood up near the top left corner there's a cutoff line on those plants, which look stamped since they all have the same pattern.

I can't say for sure whether the picture was photoshopped or not. I do see what you are talking about. I can tell you that's what the car looks like, I know the guy who installed the LM body and custom fabricated the hardtop. It there was some type of touch up done to the photo it was not to the car. It appears that something was taken out of the background. Maybe a sign?
